Companies from various sectors are looking for both fresh new talent, more experienced professionals and everything between. The roles and requirements vary from company to company.

The company can be found from Talentgate’s extensive network of companies or by your own initiative. The aim of the companies is to recruit the participant after the program. We continously update roles during the application period. Note that all the companies and positions are not public, so do not hesitate to apply even if you don't find the perfect company or position below!

You can be an early-career professional or already experienced individual eager to excel in project management, business analysis, or information systems. Diverse backgrounds are welcomed – specific skill requirements vary by company and role! You don't have to be a ready expert at the application stage - we'll help you grow into your new role!

You are defienetly interesting to us if you have some of the following:

👉 Attitude and motivation for developing your own skills and growing into a new role.

👉 Knowledge in project management and/or technical skills in IT/information systems (for example IT service management, software development, system management and other general IT skills).

👉 Technical or commercial degree (e.g., M.Sc. (Eng.), Bachelor of Science in IT, M.Sc. (Business), MBA), or relevant experience in IT or projects.

👉 Good understanding of the English language, as the training will be conducted in English. Some recruiting companies require Finnish language skills.

The training program is conducted in collaboration with recruiting companies, Uusimaa Centre for Economic Development, Transport, and the Environment (ELY Centre), and TE services. The program is aimed for unemployed persons, or those at risk of unemployment in the region, whose customer relationship with the TE office/local government pilot is active. The training is free for participants. Participants can receive unemployment benefits and expense compensation for the duration of the program. 

You will develop new, relevant skills to ensure your future career development through the training provided through this F.E.C training program. The program combines on-the-job learning in a participating company and training provided by industry professionals. Training will take place in the Helsinki area and/or online. 

The targeted start day of the program is on the 10th of June 2024. The program last for six months (120 days).

The training is held in English.

PRINCE2 7 Foundation Certification

Mastering PRINCE2, the world's leading project management method, will equip you with a powerful set of project management principles, practices, and processes. Certifying your expertise helps to ensure your expertise in the field and opens doors to many future career possibilites.

The certification is free of charge for the participants.

AI goes hand-in-hand with every training

Artificial intelligence has made its way into almost every industry and job, including IT and project management roles. For example, professionals are now able to extract insights swiftly from vast datasets and user management is efficient and more innovative with AI-powered tools and way of work.

The aim is to enhance expertise in AI within the training program, with AI being present in most training days.
