Are you good at problem solving and communication? Are you an organized person? This is your chance to become a certified project management professional and find a future career.

Several Finnish companies are looking for new talents through the Project & IT Service Management F.E.C. recruitment and training program. The aim of the program is to strengthen and certify your project management skills and through a six-month program combining both on-the-job learning and trainings held by expert project management trainers. The program also includes a chance to complete either the Prince2 Foundation or the ITIL4 Foundation certification.

Six-month long program includes 20 days of training hosted by experienced project management and other professionals with focus on developing your Project & IT Service Management skills. Teaching is in English, Limited Professional Proficiency expected.


Main training modules:

  • Project Management
    • Introduction to Project Management, Project Management Tools
    • Prince2 processes: Starting up, Initiating, Directing (a Project), Controlling (a Stage), Managing Product Delivery, Managing a Stage Boundary, Closing (a Project)
    • Agile Project Management Methods
    • Project Management Software
  • IT Service Management
    • Introduction to IT Service Management, its development and digitalization
    • ITIL Overview (Service Strategy, Design, Transition and Operation)
    • ITIL 4 Framework
    • Certification Exam (Prince2 Foundation or ITIL 4 Foundation or IPMA D)
  • General business trainings
    • ICT contracts
    • Digital Service Design
    • Leadership
    • Career counseling & job-hunting

Trainings will take place in Ruoholahti, Helsinki.

You should have an interest towards developing yourself and becoming a project management professional. You can apply if you are currently an unemployed, registered jobseeker, facing the prospect of unemployment, plus you have an active account with TE Services.

You can have a business/technical/other relevant background through either education or work experience. The requirements of the companies vary a lot depending on their needs and respective industries.

Participants will receive unemployment benefit for the duration of the program.

Targeted start is September 30th for those found a partner organization, however there will be flexibility for starting in September / October.
